SocialSignalBoard ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you use the SocialSignalBoard platform, our marketing site, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

- Content and metadata: drafts, scheduled posts, saved inspiration, analytics, and in-app conversations.
- Usage data: log files, device identifiers, browser characteristics, IP address, and timestamps.
- Third-party data: with your authorization we access social media account data (e.g., Twitter/X), Stripe billing events, and other connected services in accordance with their permissions.
2. How We Use Information
We process personal data to provide and improve the Services, support our customers, and fulfil legal obligations. Typical uses include:
- Authenticating users, maintaining workspaces, and powering AI-assisted features.
- Scheduling, publishing, and analysing connected social accounts on your behalf.
- Processing payments, subscription management, and detecting fraudulent activity.
- Providing product support, sending security notifications, and communicating about updates.
- Aggregating usage insights to improve performance, reliability, and customer experience.
- Meeting regulatory, tax, and law-enforcement obligations where required.
3. Legal Bases
For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases: contract performance, legitimate interests (product development, security, fraud prevention), consent (marketing communications, optional cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with trusted service providers and subprocessors who support the Services, or where required by law.
- Infrastructure providers (e.g., Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, Clerk) under strict data processing agreements.
- Third-party integrations that you connect and authorize (e.g., Twitter/X, email delivery vendors).
- Professional advisors and legal authorities when necessary to enforce our agreements or comply with legal requirements.
We require vendors to implement appropriate security measures and to process data only on our instructions.
5. International Transfers
SocialSignalBoard is operated from the United States. When transferring personal data internationally, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards to protect your information.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. After account closure, we retain minimal information only as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Workspace owners may request accelerated deletion at any time.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, download, or delete your personal data, as well as object to or restrict certain processing. Workspace administrators can self-serve many of these actions from the product. You may also contact us atprivacy@socialsignalboard.com to exercise your rights or appeal a decision.
8. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us to request deletion.
9. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data. These include encryption in transit, role-based access controls, audit logging, rate limiting, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; we maintain incident response procedures to notify affected users in line with applicable law.
